President Zelensky flew to the summit in Spain: What will they talk about (photo)

Zelensky noted that special attention will be paid to the Black Sea region and joint efforts will be made to strengthen global food security and freedom of navigation. In addition, strengthening air defense is among Ukraine’s priorities, especially as winter approaches.

“We have already laid the foundation for new agreements with partners and are waiting for their ratification and implementation. This should be a fruitful day for Ukraine and Europe as a whole,” he added.

European Political Community Summit: what we know

The summit will take place in Grenada on October 6. The invitation to the leaders of EU member states was sent by European Council President Charles Michel. Current problems of the EU are planned to be discussed at the event. In addition, the Union’s future priorities, namely the 2024-2029 strategy, are also on the agenda.

Let’s remember, on October 4, European Council President Charles Michel said that Ukraine could become a member of the EU in 2030, but there was a condition for this. He said both parties need to be “clear” about what their common goals, priorities and areas of investment are.
