Ministers agreed to constantly exchange information about the situation of approximately 1.6 million Ukrainians who are in Poland and receive temporary protection.
Ukrainian Minister of Internal Affairs Igor Klymenko came to Warsaw with Polish Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration Marcin Kierwiński to discuss the fight against organized crime, cross-border drug trafficking and migration. Klimenko reported this in his Telegram.
“We discussed important security issues and identified priority vectors of cooperation, especially in the field of investigation of war crimes and cooperation in the fight against borderless organized crime. The relevant Intergovernmental Agreement was actively prepared by our departments and services. I am pleased to announce that, thanks to efficient work and mutual understanding, we have reached the final stage of preparation for signature I hear,” Klimenko wrote.

The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine thanked the Polish side for the shelter and support of Ukrainians.
“According to official UN statistics, more than 1.6 million Ukrainians are registered as temporary protection recipients in Poland. It is important for us to guarantee the protection of their rights,” Klymenko said.
Ministers also agreed to constantly exchange information about the situation of Ukrainians living in Poland.
Let us also remind you that Poland recalled Eurocorps commander Jaroslaw Gromadzinski on March 27 due to the spy scandal. The Military Counterintelligence Service launched an investigation against him.
Also on March 27, Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said that Ukraine had been subjected to strong Russian air strikes and that Western media reports were “not shocking enough”. He commented on the recent incident of a Russian missile in Polish airspace. In his opinion, Warsaw reserves the right to defend its own territory, but at the same time implies the responsibility of NATO.
