“I want to enter the ring and show good, spectacular boxing. I am in good shape, after the European Championship they gave me time to rest. I stayed at home with my family, recovered a little, and then started training. I will try to show what I can”, — said the Russian.
According to Artem, his work in the ring is mostly remote, but somewhere he can work in close combat, it all depends on the opponent. Ageev stressed that he would watch how Marochi behaves in the first round. The Russian will discuss possible adjustments to the strategy together with the coach during the fight.
Ageev suggested that his great experience in boxing would help him defeat the Argentine.
“The viewer is waiting for victory, I don’t know what it will be: early or the whole distance will go. I don’t tune in for a quick victory, I tune in for all rounds,” – concluded the athlete.
Artem Ageev is a Russian boxer with 23 wins and 16 losses. Diego Marochi has 18 wins, 7 losses and one draw. It is worth noting that most of the fights (14 out of 18) the Argentinean won by knockout.
The fight between Ageev and Marochi will be co-main at a unique tournament in Serbia – “Battle near the Kalemegdan fortress”. The main fight of the tournament will be the fight between the Russian heavyweight, the current WBA Asia heavyweight champion Murat Gassiev and the strong American Carlusa Welch.
