Borodyuk resigned as head coach of the football club “Torpedo”

Alexander Borodyuk resigned as head coach of the Moscow football club “Torpedo”. As reported in the press service of “Torpedo”, the parties agreed to terminate cooperation.

In a statement published on the club’s website, Borodyuk expressed gratitude to the club’s management, players, coaching and medical staff and fans.

Together, last season we managed to win the National Football League and return the team to the RPL. Club “Torpedo” will always hold a special place in my heart: I wish him good luck, development and new victories!” – said Borodyuk, whose words led to the statement.

Borodyuk, 59, has been heading Torpedo since March 2021. From 2013 to 2014 he was also the head coach of the club. In addition, the specialist led the Kazakh “Kairat”, the Austrian “Horn”, the national team of Kazakhstan, the youth team of Russia and was a member of the coaching staff of the Russian national team.
