Carlos Salcedo, a Bravos de Juarez player, fired his community manager after complaining on social media about an arbitration that resulted in him being ejected for a foul against a Leon player, which made him upset.
The Mexican player detailed in an interview with ESPN that it was the community manager who wrote the arbitration complaint, and after realizing it, deleted it and informed the person who manages his social networks.
“At the end of the game I took a shower, put ice on myself and always grabbed the phone to see if anything happened to my family, if my family was okay, and watch the relaxation. Now it’s my turn to delete the tweet. As I told my community manager: it was a mistake, I talked to him and obviously took action on this,” Salcedo said.
The disciplinary commission is expected to take action on this after the tweet was deleted, although there is no official information from Liga MX at the moment.
“Okay, Liga MX with these judges. They want to be in the spotlight,” were the words of a tweet that went viral after the Mexican defender was ousted.
This is not the first time that Salcedo has been involved in such disputes, so it is possible that Liga MX is backed by the Mexican Football Federation.
