Defender of the Moscow Dynamo club Saba Sazonov will play for the youth national football team of Georgia, the club’s Telegram channel reported on September 19.
“Saba Sazonov and Luka Gagnidze went to the youth team of Georgia. They will play two games: September 24 with Portugal and September 27 with Turkey,” – FC reported.
Note that on September 15, 20-year-old Sazonov was called up to the Russian youth team. Initially, Sazonov was not included in the Georgian youth team, which was also announced on September 15.
Sazonov has been playing for Dynamo since January 2022. This year he has made 10 appearances in all competitions.
Sazonov, in addition to Russian, has Georgian citizenship. It is known that his mother is Georgian, but Sazonov was born in St. Petersburg and spent his entire sports career in Russian clubs.
