What were the reasons why Sergio “Checo” Perez withdrew from the Japanese Grand Prix twice?

Early in the morning this Sunday, September 24th, the race Japanese Grand Prix Mexican Sergio “Checo” Perez had to retire twice.because his car received multiple damages, causing him to retire from the race and finish second to last.

The Guadalajara driver’s first crash came on the first lap when he reported damage to the car’s nose, forcing him to pit to replace a part and attempt a grand comeback. Returning to the track, Perez did not remove the safety car and overtook some rivals, for which a five-second penalty was imposed.

Later in the race the racer Red Bull teams tried to overtake Kevin Magnussenteam pilot Hass, crashed into him, and because of this he had to go back to the pits. Once he entered the pits, the Mexican had to serve a sanction for violating safety car rules before competing again.

On the first lap, Sergio “Checo” Perez contacted his team and reported that the car had extensive front-end damage, forcing him to retire.
