Khamzat Chimaev defeated Kamaru Usman at UFC 294

In the co-main fight of the UFC 294 tournament, which takes place on October 21 in Abu Dhabi, Russian fighter Khamzat Chimaev and Nigerian athlete Kamaru Usman met in the ring.

In the first round, Chimaev demonstrated clear dominance in the fight. Usman went into deep defense, but managed to hold the line. The second round was also for the Russian.

Third round. One and a half minutes until the end of the battle. Chimaev began to hold Usman tightly, pressing him against the Octagon. Usman could only desperately resist, preventing Chimaev from striking.

20 seconds left. Usman managed to throw Chimaev off of him and get to his feet. In the last ten seconds the fighters exchanged powerful blows.

Following the results of the fight, the referees decided that Khamzat Chimaev won.

Earlier it became known that Russian UFC bantamweight fighter Said Nurmagomedov defeated a fighter from Tajikistan Muin Gafurov in the second minute of the fight.

Russian MMA fighter Ikram Aliskerov also won, knocking out 32-year-old Brazilian Varley Alvis.

The fight between Russian Magomed Ankalaev and Brazilian Johnny Walker at UFC 294 was declared invalid.

Shara Bullet won in his UFC debut. He defeated Brazilian fighter Bruna Silva.

Also in the only women’s fight in the current tournament, Russian Victoria Dudakova defeated American Jean Yu Frey.
