The Krasnodar players defeated CSKA Moscow with a score of 1:0, snatching it at the end of the home match in the 18th round of the World – Russian Premier League (RPL). The game took place at the Krasnodar Arena, Sport-Express reports.
The only goal of the match was scored by Krasnodar midfielder Nikita Krivtsov in the 90th minute.
After this victory, the club from the south of Russia scored 38 points and returned to first place in the World RPL standings. CSKA is in eighth place in the Russian Championship with 28 points.
This game was the last for both teams this year. They will hold their next meetings after the winter break – in early March 2024.
Earlier it was reported that Zenit from St. Petersburg defeated Nizhny Novgorod Pari NN with a score of 1:0 in the home game of the World RPL, and Moscow Spartak defeated Krylya Sovetov from Samara at home – 3:0. Also, Lokomotiv from Moscow beat Ekaterinburg Ural in the capital – 2:0.
