In fact, “no” is not final. Formula 1 may reconsider the team’s application for participation in the 2028 Championship with a General Motors engine, either as an official GM team or as a customer team.
In this case, additional factors will need to be considered in relation to the value that the applicant will bring to the Championship, particularly in relation to the introduction of a new prestigious OEM as a powertrain supplier.
