Forward of the Moscow hockey club Dynamo Nikita Gusev broke the record for the most points in one KHL regular season.

Thus, Gusev beat former Magnitogorsk Metallurg striker Sergei Mozyakin.

The forward scored his record point in the match against Admiral Vladivostok, which took place on February 24 in Moscow. During this game, Gusev made an assist in overtime.

As a result, the striker scored 86 points in 67 matches of the season. The previous record holder Mozyakin scored 85 points in the 2016-2017 season.

Let us remember that in July last year Gusev became a hockey player for Dynamo Moscow. He signed a contract for one season.

Let us note that while playing for the Russian national team, Gusev won gold and silver medals at the Olympic Games, as well as two bronze medals at the World Championships.
