Maserati will lead to his debut new GranCabrio February 29. Through its social accounts, the automaker announced the date for the presentation of its new model, which we have already talked about several times. This is an exclusive car as it will enter a truly niche segment and will also be offered in 100% electric version of Folgore.

Therefore, after the launch of the new GranTurismo, Trident is going to introduce a new version of the Cabrio. We already know something about this model thanks to a series of spy photos that have surfaced over time. The appearance will clearly mirror that of the new GranTurismo. The main differences will be at roof level, where there will be canvas top. There will also be some differences at the back.
The line of internal combustion engines will follow the line of the coupe version. So, under the hood we will find the well-known Engine V6 Nettuno in two power levels: 550 hp. (405 kW) and 650 Nm of torque for the Trofeo version and 490 hp. (360 kW) and 600 Nm of torque for the Modena version. Thanks to this unit, the coupe model is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds and 3.9 seconds, respectively. Maximum speed 320 km/h and 302 km/h.
The performance of the new GranCabrio shouldn’t be much different. Obviously, we’ll know more in a few days when the car is officially unveiled. The endothermic model should debut first.
A Folgore version equipped with electric motors will also appear later. Also in this case we will see the same transmission as the GranTurismo Folgore. This means they will be there 3 electric motors total power 830 hp (610 kW). The 100% electric Folgore model differs from the endothermic model only in a specific radiator grille, specially designed alloy wheels and the absence of exhaust pipes.
