Apple Watch Case Exploded on Owner’s Wrist Reported: What Happened

An Apple Watch Series 7 user reported that his smartwatch exploded after suddenly overheating. what made him start smoking.

The man commented that his Apple Watch there was no stroke or accident, when suddenly he began to emit more heat than usual. So, after taking it off and inspecting it, he found that the back was broken, even though it hadn’t been hit in any way.

At this point, the temperature rise was such that watchOS itself, the operating system of the watch, displayed a warning notification to shut it down. try to regulate their temperature.

All of this led to an unnamed user trying to contact Apple Support to try and figure out what was going on. Thus, he was able to speak on the phone with the helpdesk manager who was in charge of creating a report to conduct an in-depth investigation of his case.

At this point the only instructions he received were not to touch the watch until contacted by Apple personnel..

However, the situation has not improved and the next day the heat coming from the watch was such that the screen was destroyed. When the Apple Watch owner tried to pick them up to take pictures to try and send them to Apple the device began to make a “crack” which caused him to drop it seconds before it exploded.. He then spoke again to Apple staff, who informed him that his case would be top priority and that he would be taken care of. Subsequently, the company’s employees went to his home to remove the rest of the equipment and transfer it to his offices in order to be able to test and find out what caused this accident.

It must be indicated that this This will be the first known case of one of Apple’s smartwatches suffering this type of catastrophic failure.. It can be foreseen that as soon as the company manages to determine whether the accident was the result of a previously undetected problem, it will publish information.

This is extremely important given that hundreds of thousands of people bought an Apple Watch Series 7 at the time and could be at risk.
