The NBU has published a map on its website where you can find bank branches operating in the event of a blackout.
The National Bank of Ukraine has created an interactive map showing working ATMs. Customers can also download the PDF or Excel file to their phones so that they always have the addresses of financial institutions included in the POWER BANKING network.
This network includes all 14 systemically important banks and more than 1200 points throughout Ukraine. The NBU “Bank of Invincibility” initiative is designed to provide the necessary financial services to Ukrainians, who cannot withdraw cash from ATMs due to the constant rocket attacks of the Russians on the energy infrastructure of our country.
Special departments are provided with generators, increased staff numbers, adequate cash supply and backup communication channels. In addition, the so-called National circulation between banks is part of the “Bank of Invincibility” system, that is, there are no additional commissions.
However, there are also restrictions on withdrawals. As the NBU told Channel 24, the limit averages between UAH 10,000 and 20,000 per day.
According to the head of the NBU Andriy Pyshny, the POWER BANKING system is a constant “growth” of branches, in which everything necessary to work in critical conditions will be provided, including Starlink satellite communications.
