“Change the tide of war”: Ukrainian soldiers combine artificial intelligence with kamikaze drones for $ 1500 (video)

The commandos prepared two models: one with 10 kg of explosives, the second – 20 kg. They are already being tested for accuracy.

Special Operations Forces assembles Ukrainian kamikaze drones to carry out effective attacks against Russian troops. A fighter of the tactical group “Irpen” with the call sign “Dancer” told “Channel 5” the details of the project.

SSO specialists began developing its own drone in the fall of 2022, and now it is conducting field tests, checking the accuracy of hitting the designated targets. After the tests, the devices are sent for revision in order to eliminate the deficiencies and make them ideal. Engineers are working to create artificial intelligence to protect communication channels and capture targets.

Dancer added that the team has prepared two models for different payloads, one flying 10 kilometers and the other 20 kilometers. The modular design makes it easy to transport unmanned aerial vehicles from one place to another in disassembled form, and a complete assembly takes about 4 hours. . UAV control is quite simple, so the military quickly masters it.

“We produce shock systems, kamikaze unmanned aerial vehicles to change the course of the war in order to destroy our enemy,” Dancer emphasized.

Drones cost between $1,500 and $5,000, but developers want to make it cheaper to manufacture. To do this, they are looking for companies abroad that will agree to supply components at competitive prices, the main problem being the purchase of scarce electronics. The team, which plans to go abroad and show their drones to potential partners and investors, will go to the first “kamikaze” front in 3-4 months if they can get support.

In January, they wrote about how SSO fighters with the help of a kamikaze drone destroyed the Russian position near Bakhmut. With a well-meaning shot, the operator eliminated the two invaders who were firing with machine guns.

Meanwhile, the Marine Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is collecting its own military drones for the defense of Ukraine. After studying the basics of how drones work, they designed several models for different combat missions.
