McLaren Elva – a roadster with an engine 4 liter twin turbo V8 capable of developing 815 hp. (599 kW) at a torque of 800 Nm. The performance is, of course, remarkable considering the manufacturer claims it takes less than 3 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h and 6.7 seconds to reach 200 km/h. The model is also released in a limited edition. In fact, during the presentation, McLaren said it would only build 399 examples of this roadster, at a cost of around 1.7 million euros. Subsequently, plans changed and 149 units were made.
However, if these characteristics are not enough for the happy owners of the McLaren Elva, Cooker Novitek is ready to offer a kit that makes this car even faster.
First, the tuner worked on the engine. Thanks to the use of the N-Tronic control unit, the power of the V8 engine is increased to 641 kW (872 hp) with a maximum torque of 864 Nm. Choice package stage 2 which also includes a special exhaust system, engine power reaches even i 676 kW (919 hp) with a maximum torque of 898 Nm.
The most powerful version of the McLaren Elva accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds, and the top speed exceeds 330 km/h. Novitec hasn’t interfered with the aerodynamics, which remains standard. In any case, the tuner offers new 7-twin-spoke alloy wheels measuring 20 inches at the front with 255/30 ZR 20 tires and 21 inches at the rear with 325/25 ZR 21 tires.
Given the increase in engine performance, Novitec intervened also for setting. Thanks to the new springs, the vehicle’s ground clearance has decreased by about 20 mm. As for the interior, the tuner offers customers a variety of customization options thanks to the ability to use a large catalog of accessories.
