XPeng G6 is a new electric SUV that the Chinese automaker is about to introduce in China. This is the model most likely to be unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Show in April. A battery-powered SUV that will almost certainly also hit the European market in 2024. In fact, as we know, Xpeng is gradually entering the various car markets of the Old Continent. Thanks to information leaked from the website of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China (MIIT), we can get a first look at the characteristics of this new model.

FIRST DETAILS

According to reports, the new XPeng G6 measure Length 4753 mm, width 1920 mm, height 1650 mm, wheelbase 2890 mm. empty weight The G6 ranges from 1995kg to 2100kg depending on the version chosen. The new Xpeng G6 SUV will be able to count on at least two different powertrains. The base version will have 218 kW single electric motorwhile “Performance” will be distinguished by the presence of two electric motors each total power 358 kW. In this second model, of course, there will also be four-wheel drive. Regardless of the power unit, the maximum speed will always be 202 km/h.


There is no exact information on the capacity of the batteries that will be available for the new Xpeng G6. Therefore, at the moment we do not know what the autonomy of this new electric SUV will be. However, thanks to information that appeared on the website of the Chinese MIIT, we know that the base model will be offered with a battery type LFP extension and both with NMC battery while Performance will be able to rely only on batteries NMC Extension. Therefore, it remains only to wait for the official presentation to find out about all its features, including prices. However, there is speculation that it should cost between 200,000 and 250,000 yuan (27,100 to 33,900 euros).
