The Russian Federation has prepared a new information attack against Ukraine on social networks. Among its goals is to undermine citizens’ trust in the current government. This was stated in a press release from the Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security.
According to the information received, the campaign to demoralize the Ukrainians has already begun, and with its help they will try to create despair among the people, as stated in the CNS.
“The campaign of spreading lies began on March 11. The invaders want to undermine the trust of the Ukrainian society in the authorities by manipulating the so-called lost war for Bakhmut and the fact that the allies will leave us to fate with the enemy.” says report.

There are several narratives that propagandists try to use in an information attack:
- “Bakhmut war lost by Ukraine”;
- “The West does not believe in Ukraine”;

CNS quickly noted that this was actually not true. The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to defend Bakhmut, large quantities of weapons and equipment continue to arrive from the West and will soon be used in the counterattack.
