Tesla, its charging network continues to grow: 45,000 Superchargers worldwide April 11, 2023 2

Tesla continues to invest in its Supercharger network with a view to its rapid growth. Infrastructure that is always represents the value added for the customers of the American car manufacturer, which contributed to the success of Elon Musk’s company, especially in the beginning, when the public fast-charging network was still very immature.

Now Elon Musk’s company has announced that its Supercharger network has reached a new and important milestone. Indeed, this infrastructure has arrived have up to 45,000 superchargers (understood as columns) around the world. This is a significant figure that shows how Tesla is rapidly developing this charging infrastructure. Suffice it to say that at the end of November 2022, the company “celebrated” 40,000 Superchargers. However, in June 2022 there were 35,000 of them. So, in about 10 months, Tesla installed 10,000 superchargers.

This is no mean feat considering what other companies are doing to build charging infrastructure for electric vehicles. Recall that Tesla is not only working on installing new charging stations, but also taking care of expand existing. Everything to improve the charging experience of their customers and much more.

In fact, recall that the automaker is worth gradual opening its charging network for electric vehicles and other brands. It is for this reason that Supercharger stations with an ever-increasing number of charging points are needed.

BLOWERS ARE OPEN FOR EVERYONE

Opening of the Supercharger project to all electric vehicles started in November 2021 in the Netherlands. Gradually, the car manufacturer began to make an increasing number of charging points available to everyone in the countries of the Old Continent, including Italy.

An initiative that then spread to Australia as well as the United States after Tesla reached an agreement with the US government to open this infrastructure. Over time, Tesla will open more and more charging points in its network for all electric vehicles of other automakers in the countries of its presence.
