It will no longer be called the Range Rover Sport SVR. but just a Range Rover SV. Apparently, Land Rover will initially sell the new car “by invitation only” in a special limited edition. An aspect that will obviously be clarified during the official presentation.
Thanks to a series of spy photos and rumors, we already know something about the news regarding this new car. Based on what has emerged over time, it appears that this model will ditch the 5-litre supercharged V8 engine in favor of 4.4 liter V8 a mild hybrid twin-turbo made by BMW. This should be the unit of the current BMW X5 M Competition, capable of producing 625 hp. Obviously, the traction will be all-wheel drive.
In terms of design, compared to the Range Rover Sport, the SV version will be able to count on some details that will highlight its greater performance. For example, there should be a redesigned front bumper with new larger air intakes. Even inside the cabin there will be small touches reflecting the greater sportiness of this model.
