Peugeot 3008 and 5008, Hybrid 136 e-DCS6 engine arrives in Italy. Prices 03 May 2023 8

They arrive in Italy Peugeot 3008 and 5008 with new Hybrid engine 136 e-DCS6 which the French car manufacturer introduced in mid-February 2023. This is a next-generation Mild Hybrid powertrain developed by the Stellantis Group that performs very similar to that of the new Alfa Romeo Tonale. A powertrain that will gradually be offered to other models in the Peugeot range.

New Peugeot 3008 Hybrid 136 e-DCS6 offered in 3 layouts. We are leaving from 37 520 euros for the Active Pack, €40,570 for the Allure Pack and €42,520 for the top GT trim. Instead, new Peugeot 5008 Hybrid 136 e-DCS6 it is proposed at 40,670 euros in the Active Pack, 43,720 euros in the Allure Pack version and 45,670 euros in the GT package. New models can already be ordered from dealers, the first deliveries are expected before the summer.

NEW POWER TRAIN

Recall, the new powertrain Hybrid 136 e-DCS6 consists of a gasoline engine. PureTech 3-cylinder 1.2-liter displacement 100 kW / 136 hp with a torque of 230 Nm paired with a new 6-speed dual clutch transmission inside which is built a small Electrical engine synchronous with permanent magnets from 21 kW (28 hp) with a torque of 55 Nm. The electrical unit is powered by a small Battery 0.89 kWh.

If the battery level is sufficient, you can drive only in electric mode for short distances up to a speed of 30 km/h. Starting off is always done in electric mode, as are parking maneuvers. This new powertrain promises, Peugeot says, fuel consumption savings of up to 15% compared to a comparable non-electrified petrol engine. The French brand claims emissions of 126g CO2/km for the 3008 and 128g CO2/km for the 5008. According to Peugeot, the 3008 and 5008 can drive around town 50% of the time in all-electric mode.
