A threat to Israel and the United States. Iran introduced a new attack aircraft Mohajer-10 (video)

Israeli experts say that the drone is similar to the American MQ-9 Reaper, but is twenty years behind.

Iran unveiled a new Mohajer-10 military drone on National Defense Industry Day, CNN reported. This UAV is said to be the latest achievement in the country’s defense industry.

The Mohajer-10 received increased flight range and flight time (2,000 km and 24 hours), as well as the ability to be equipped with a payload of 300 kg, which is twice the Mohajer-6 drone. The maximum altitude that the drone can take off is 7,000 meters.

A video released by Iranian media on Tuesday shows the UAV with the inscription “Prepare your bunkers” in Hebrew and Persian, among other military vehicles. CNN states that the video text published on Iran’s Military Industry Day reflects the strained relations between Iran and Israel. And while US officials accuse Iran of supplying Mohajer-6 drones to Russia in its war against Ukraine, Tehran denies it.

According to Israeli military experts at The Jerusalem Post, the new Iranian drone will be able to carry a payload of about 300 kg and reach speeds of up to 200 km/h, about half of the American MQ-9 Reaper. Iran’s payload is about a quarter of Reaper’s, so the Mohajer-10 is still twenty years behind US technology.

However, Iran says the Mohajer-10 is capable of carrying reconnaissance modules as well as bomb and electronic warfare systems. The Jerusalem Post means that Iran could use this drone to threaten Israeli or US forces in the region. It is unclear whether Iran can effectively use these drones abroad. Such large drones are now easy prey for air defense because they are slow and easy to detect due to their relatively high radar signature.

Previously Focus He said that they talked about the domestic Qaher-313 fighter jet project, which will receive two versions, a pilot and an unmanned one, in Iran. The Qaher-313 prototype was first presented in 2013, but has not yet entered service with the Iranian army.
