New drone attack on Russian Federation: Explosions occurred in two regions – Ministry of Defense

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported the alleged destruction of unmanned aerial vehicles in the Bryansk and Belgorod regions. Ukraine has traditionally been blamed for the attack.

On the night of September 6, the territory of the Russian Federation was attacked by unmanned aerial vehicles. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation on Telegram.

According to the agency, at around 21:00, air defense shot down a drone over the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation.

Later, the Ministry of Defense added that another UAV was destroyed on the territory of the Bryansk region at around 23:30. The Russian ministry blamed Ukraine for both attacks.

The governor of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz, confirmed that the region was attacked with a drone. The official stated that the drone was shot down over the Navlinsky district.

Bogomaz said, “There is no loss of life or damage. Operations and emergency service teams are working at the scene.”

Local officials of the Belgorod region did not comment on the attack.

Recall, on September 4, the governor of the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation, Alexander Bogomaz, said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces claimed to have attacked the Klintsov thermal power plant with unmanned aerial vehicles.

We also reported that on September 5, Moscow was attacked by drones. According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down in the regions of Moscow, Tver and Kaluga, advancing towards the capital of Russia.
