Residents of the occupied city claimed that the drone was trying to destroy the Murom-M surveillance complex installed on the roof of the high-rise building.
On September 7, a drone attack was carried out on a high-rise residential building in Energodar. Video footage was broadcast by the Russian media “RT Russian”.
The video shows how a small drone the size of a quadcopter enters the technical floor of one of the sections of a residential building and crashes into a wall. An explosion occurred, and then thick gray smoke appeared at the collision site. Judging by the video, there was no serious damage to the building, but the attack scared the locals.
Residents of the occupied city are discussing the incident in a local Telegram group called Energodar Today. According to them, a 14-story building located near the town hall was damaged.
Also the townspeople mark a landmark called “Tavria”. Therefore, the house hit by the drone may be located in the area of the public transport stop of the same name on Stroiteley Street.
But there is another landmark in the city called “Tavria”. This is a store located at the intersection of Stroiteley Avenue and Kurchatov Street. Nearby is the supermarket “Silpo” and kindergarten number 12.
Also, residents of Energodar have put forward their own version of why the drone crashed into a residential building. They believe that the Russian Murom-M surveillance complex, which the invaders set up on the roof of a high-rise apartment building, is to blame. The townspeople unequivocally agreed that the Ukrainian military decided to deprive the RF Armed Forces of these vehicles so that it would not interfere with the operation of a more “serious” drone.
At the same time, the occupation administration of the city announced that on the morning of September 7, five drone attacks were carried out on the city. A large number of drones were captured, one of them was destroyed in the cultural and amusement park in the city.
Recall that on September 7, the invaders accused Ukraine of carrying out a drone attack on Energodar. Local residents claim that one of the drones almost flew into the occupation administration of the Russian Federation, located in the center of the village.
At the end of August, the GUR reported that the partisans launched a drone and blew up the headquarters of the “Kadyrovites” in Energodar. Later, firefighters and ambulances arrived at the scene, while the local occupation administration was urgently evacuated.
