The official stated that air defense was activated in the Kursk region and called on the people of the region to remain calm.

Later, the governor added that a “Ukrainian drone” allegedly dropped two explosive devices on a substation in the Belaya settlement in the Belovsky district. According to him, as a result of the attack, a transformer caught fire and part of the area was left without electricity.
“The electricity supply was cut off to five settlements and a hospital. Fire crews went to the scene. As soon as it is safe, they will begin to restore electricity supply,” Roman Starovoit wrote.
At the same time, local Telegram channels published videos in which loud explosions could be heard from the Kursk region.
Let’s remember, on September 26, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported that soldiers of the Russian Volunteer Corps entered the war on Russian territory. Many FSB officers, border guards and Russian army personnel were killed in the conflict in the Kursk region on the Ukrainian border.
