It makes drone operators invisible: a HIMERA modem was created for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (video)

HIMERA modem is designed to transmit signals and can operate effectively in hostile electronic warfare conditions.

Ukrainian manufacturer HIMERA has released a modem for drone operators that makes them invisible to enemy electronic warfare systems. Company representative Alexey Oleynik spoke about this on Espreso.TV on Wednesday, October 11.

“We are talking about a military-grade modem with PRFC (pseudo-random tuning technology – ed.), built entirely on commercial components. Such modems can be produced in tens, hundreds, hundreds of thousands per month,” Oleynik said.

HIMERA modem is designed to transmit signals. It can be hung on a hovering drone or any height (tower, pole). The device can operate effectively in hostile electronic warfare conditions. This development will be especially useful for FPV drone operators. The modem will expand the coverage of these weapons and create safer working conditions for the military.

“The idea of this modem is that the pilot controlling the helicopter is in a city where no one will ever know — several hundred or even kilometers away from the point where the drone is being controlled,” a representative said. HIMERA company.

Let us also remind you that the Ukrainians created the Himera radio, which the Russians could not suppress, and that they successfully used the equipment at the front. Not only can it resist enemy electronic warfare systems, but it can also work as a GPS beacon, helping to search for and evacuate wounded soldiers.

We also wrote previously that engineers have found a way to distribute Starlink Internet to drones. Operators can receive video and control drones even without cellular coverage.
