The Kremlin awarded the president of Republika Srpska for his great contribution to the development of Russia’s cooperation with Bosnia and Herzegovina and strengthening partnership with Republika Srpska.
Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded the Order of Alexander Nevsky to Milorad Dodik, president of Republika Srpska (part of Bosnia and Herzegovina).
This is stated in the presidential decree on the official portal of legal information.
In the document, the President of Republika Srpska was awarded for his great contribution to the development of Russia’s cooperation with Bosnia and Herzegovina and strengthening partnership with Republika Srpska.
Earlier on May 23, Putin received Dodik at the Kremlin and thanked him for his “impartial stance on events in Ukraine”, Interfax news agency reported.
“The Republic of Serbia remains stubborn in its position: (counter – ed.) A policy that seeks to shift the blame to one side. We believe that the Russian Federation fought hard for its security framework and tried to provide guarantees before, but it happened. Dodik, NWO’ “I hope it ends as soon as possible. Of course, we all want peace,” he said.
Recall, on 12 January, the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik declared Vasily Kirilich, the Ukrainian ambassador to Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, “persona non grata”. In response to this, Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Oleg Nikolenko pointed out that Dodik does not have the authority to take such decisions.
On January 6, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba posted a post on Twitter requesting Milorad Dodik to return an old Ukrainian icon presented to Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
