The drone crashed into a Russian vehicle moving along the road, causing the vehicle to catch fire and its occupants to escape.
Soldiers of the M2 unit of the Alpha Special Operations Center of the Security Service of Ukraine destroyed the Russian Grad multiple launch rocket system bombing the Kherson region. Ukrainian blogger and volunteer Sergei Sternenko reported this by posting a video of the defeat in his Telegram.
In the video, the Russian MLRS responded and began moving along the road, at which time it was spotted by a Ukrainian reconnaissance plane. The fighters then launched an FPV attack drone, which landed a precision hit on Grad, causing the equipment to burst into flames and thick gray smoke to rise into the sky.
Enemy military equipment stopped in the middle of the road and several Russian soldiers fled from there. They decided to abandon the disabled MLRS and fled towards the forest.
“Russian Grad opened fire on the Kherson region, but was later punished by one of the drones (bought with the money of concerned citizens),” Sergei Sternenko said.
Let us remind you that on November 15 it became known that National Guard soldiers destroyed a Soviet anti-aircraft artillery complex in the Seversky direction. An enemy facility was discovered on the territory of an industrial area, the enemy tried to hide it behind buildings, but they did not succeed. The National Guard attacked the invaders’ equipment with artillery fire.
On November 17, MTR’s press service mentioned the destruction of the Russian Ural-4320 truck along with BM-21 Grad MLRS ammunition in the southern direction. The fighters opened artillery fire and attacked the enemy vehicle with FPV drones. In addition, the military managed to damage the MLRS itself.
