The VT-Naut drone takes off and lands using wind power, stays in the sky for up to 90 minutes and transmits data to a distance of 30 km.
Aeromao developed the VT-Naut with a fixed wing and vertical take-off and landing capability. Its distinguishing feature is the ability to jump down, Uasweekly reports.
VT-Naut UAV is designed for high-precision mapping, detailed survey, reconnaissance, surveillance as well as the needs of farmers.
The vertical take-off and landing system allows you to launch the drone from literally anywhere, plus it can land on water if necessary. Interestingly, the device uses strong winds during the descent phase. In addition, the wind does not hinder it during takeoff, but it is recommended to be careful with the drone if the wind speed exceeds 35 km/h.
It can fly for 90 minutes on a single charge, but engineers say they will extend the flight time even further. The feature of the UAV is the data transmission range of 30 km and 70 km (subject to a linear mission).
