Nissan presented at the Tokyo Motor Show NISMO version her electric Aria. Rumors have been circulating for some time about the possibility that the Japanese automaker could offer a sportier version of its crossover. The model that is now presented and will be on sale in Japan next spring. At the moment there is no information about the European market.
The new model is based on Version Aria e-4ORCE and has a new body kit that makes the appearance much more aggressive. The main innovations are, in fact, design. Nissan has revised the front end by redesigning the bumper, making it more aggressive with the presence of a new splitter and red accents, which we also see on the door mirrors, side skirts and rear bumper.
At the rear, we see a more pronounced roof spoiler and an additional spoiler on the tailgate. The car can also count on special 20-inch wheels. Speaking of the interior, Nissan offers NISMO logo seats, red accents on the center console and instrument panel, red contrast stitching, and a small NISMO logo on the dash.
As for powertrains, in Japan the Nissan Ariya NISMO will be offered in two versions: NISMO B6 e-4ORCE and NISMO B9 e-4ORCE. The first one can count on double motor 270 kW and 560 Nm of torque, powered by a 66 kWh battery.
The second, however, always offers double engine, but with a power of 320 kW and 600 Nm of torque. Everything is powered by a 91 kWh battery. The automaker did not provide details about range and performance. Weight from 2080 to 2220 kg depending on the version. Will we see this in Europe too? More details will likely emerge as the Japanese market launch time approaches.
