New Mercedes TsLA this will be the first model from the German automaker to have MMA platform (Mercedes modular architecture) which will be used in future “Entry Luxury” models. There is no specific information yet about the powertrains that the future AMG-developed CLA will have. We only know that the production version of the CLA will be offered in several variants with one or two electric motors. The concept, presented at the Munich Motor Show, had a single 175 kW electric motor located on the rear axle.
Mercedes must deliver two types of batteries: The first with LFP (lithium iron phosphate) cells and the second with silicon oxide anodes that allow for improved energy density.
