A Russian soldier talked about the tactics of a swarm of drones operating with the “queen”. Thanks to this tactic, UAVs can save power.
Fighters of the Ukrainian Armed Forces can launch a swarm of drones onto the battlefield, flying long distances accompanied by another relay drone. A Russian soldier who survived the bombing described such an incident. The military innovation, which worried a representative of the Russian Armed Forces, was reported on the Newsweek portal.
Portal journalists drew attention to the video of the Russian media outlet Izvestia, in which they showed a Russian from the BARS unit. The man described how he saw a swarm of Ukrainian FPV drones flying towards Russian positions. Above the small drones hung a larger device that he called the “womb” (or “queen” in English translation).

Newsweek portal noted that they wrote a letter to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine to obtain approval for such tactics of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: they did not receive a response.
