They want to send subpoenas to Ukrainians through electronic account: how will it work?

Following the approval of the new bill, citizens must clarify their identity information through Centers for the provision of administrative services, online accounts or TTK within 60 days from the date of mobilization.

The Ukrainian government submitted the final bill on mobilization to the Verkhovna Rada. This document proposes that summonses be sent through the conscript’s electronic account. This situation is stated in the relevant draft law.

As part of preparations for mobilization, Ukrainian citizens will be required to register the electronic account of a conscript, a person responsible for military service or a reservist.

Those responsible for military service are required to update their identity information via Administrative Services Centers, electronic account or TTK within 60 days from the date of mobilization activity.

As attached to the relevant document, the subpoena can be sent through an electronic account, and the day of its delivery will be considered the day the regional recruitment and social support center receives a message about its delivery. If the notice is sent after 17:00, it will be deemed to have been notified on the next business day.

The conscript has the right to warn him not to come to the TCC and SP within three days, but only for good reasons, in particular natural events, illness, actions of Russia or the death of a close relative.

Let us remind you that the text of the document was published on the Verkhovna Rada website on January 30 and contains many innovations regarding mobilization.

We should also point out that the new mobilization bill foresees three types of penalties for military service members who ignore the calls made to the TTK.
