Travel blogger Kristina Puzyreva was found guilty of sending drones and spare parts for Russian missiles worth $7 million. The girl became part of a scheme that allowed Russian military equipment manufacturers to evade US sanctions, Vice reported.
Kristina Puzyreva and her friends allegedly purchased and shipped millions of dollars worth of American-made electronics to support the Russian Federation in its war against Ukraine, according to special agent Erin Keegan, who participated in the investigation. It was possible to establish that Puzyreva was involved in 298 deliveries worth $ 7 million.
Kristina Puzyreva and her husband Nikolai Goltsev lived in Montreal (Canada). Their accomplice was Salimjon Nasriddinov Nasriddinov from New York (USA). According to the U.S. Department of Justice, the couple flew from Canada to New York through Nasrillinov, purchased electronics through shell companies, and then shipped them to Russia. Many of the parts they shipped had serial numbers, making it easy to connect the shipments to all three defendants.
