After the debut of the new e-3008, Peugeot working on launching a new model e-5008, 7-seater electric SUV. The automaker says full details on the exterior and interior will be announced in March. In the meantime, he shared a short teaser video that gives a first look at the interior.
Like the e-3008, the new e-5008 will also be able to count on Peugeot Panoramic i-Cockpit, an evolution of the i-Cockpit that we already know and can be found on various Peugeot models. In the salon we will find a large 21″ panel which contains the instrument displays and infotainment system. There will also be a head-up display and LED lighting. The short film also allows you to appreciate the presence of a third row of seats.

As for the mechanics, the French automaker did not want to share any information yet. However, the new electric SUV will be based on Stellantis STLA Medium Platform, the same as used on the Peugeot e-3008. The powertrain offering should also match the e-3008. So, we will have options with one or two electric motors, powered by batteries with a capacity of up to 98 kWh.
