Accomplice of Lady Gaga’s dog thief sues singer for failing to pay $500,000 reward

Two years ago, a man walking animals was attacked by two black men. After the assassination attempt, they fled, taking two of the singer’s three dogs, who later offered $500,000 to return the pets.

A woman accused of stealing Lady Gaga’s French Bulldogs is now suing the pop star for not paying her promised $500,000 prize. Reported by TMZ.

According to the publication, Jennifer McBride alleges that Gaga, 36, made it clear that she would pay a large sum “without questions asked” if her dogs were returned safely.

Celebrity announced the award in February 2021 after her purebred puppies Koji and Gustav were stolen at gunpoint from a dog walker.

According to the publication, McBride claims to have returned the dogs to Gaga at the LAPD Olympic Community Station on February 26, 2021, just two days after they were stolen.

McBride was later charged with theft with possession of stolen property and complicity in a crime. She allegedly dated Ryan Fisher, the father of one of the men responsible for the attack on Gaga’s dog walker.

In the end, McBride did not dispute the number of times he received a stolen property and was given a two-year suspended sentence.

According to the publication, McBride is asking for more than $500,000. It seeks $1.5 million in compensation from Gaga for allegedly posting a misleading bounty.

As previously reported, the attack took place on the evening of Wednesday, February 25th. According to reporters, Fischer was shot in the chest while taking Koji, Miss Asia, and Gustavo out for a walk. Fortunately, he survived his injuries. James Howard Jackson, identified by police as the main perpetrator, did not appeal the attempted murder charge. He was eventually sentenced to 21 years in prison.
