The easiest barbecue: a hassle-free recipe

Barbecuing is an exact science, but in this recipe everything is simplified to the limit.

Culinary blogger Uncle Zhenya says this recipe is called “ghost kebab.” To make a real barbecue, you need to have certain knowledge. He argues that no special imagination is needed to imitate it at home. Just a little time and a minimal set of products.

  • pork – 0.5 kg;
  • onions – 2;
  • vinegar – 50 g;
  • lemon – 0.5 (for juice);
  • vegetable oil;
  • salt pepper

For a ghost barbecue, we take a piece of pork – let’s say half a kilo. We cut it into small pieces. We cut several medium-sized onions into rings or half rings. Marinate the meat with onions in vinegar (by eye according to your own understanding) with the addition of salt, pepper and lemon juice from half-squeezed lemon juice. Mix well with your hands, put in the refrigerator under light pressure. After 3-4 hours, we take it out and fry it in vegetable oil and medium heat for 20-30 minutes, carefully following the process, turning the pieces for even frying.

Uncle Zhenya assures that the result, of course, is not a barbecue, but a kind of ghost of it – and very tasty. She finished the dish with a rosemary baked potato. And winter has finally receded – after all, we associate barbecue with the warm season!
