‘I saw faces in the dark’: Nicolas Cage says he remembers himself in the womb

According to Nicolas Cage, real baby brains took sounds outside the womb and turned them into faces.

Hollywood actor Nicolas Cage, 59, admitted in an interview with Stephen Colbert that his earliest memories go back to when he was not yet born and in the womb, writes Insider.

According to her, she saw “faces in the dark” because she was in her mother’s womb. Cage also revealed that he believes in an afterlife.

Answering the host’s questions on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the actor was extremely candid. When Steven asked him about his first memory, Cage replied:

“Let me think about it. Look, I know this sounds weird and I don’t know if it’s true, but sometimes I think I can go all the way to the womb and I feel like I’m seeing faces in the dark or in the dark.” Something like this. I know it sounds very abstract, but it looks like it might have happened somehow.”

Colbert then asked if these “faces” were in the womb with Cage, and the actor went on to say that he thought real baby brains were taking sounds from outside the womb and converting them into faces.

“Since I’m no longer in the womb, I have to imagine that it might be sound vibrations that resonated with me at that stage. It goes back a long way. I don’t know. It just comes to my mind,” said Nicholas. Then he added with a laugh, “I don’t even remember being in my mother’s womb, but it just occurred to me.”

Cage continued his existential thinking when asked what happens when a human dies. He is sure that the “electricity” in our body continues to live:

“Wow. Nobody really knows, I don’t know. They say electricity is infinite. The spark continues to burn. But does this electricity have consciousness, really, who knows?”

The actor is now in frequent media coverage as he is busy promoting the comedy horror movie “Renfield” in which he plays Dracula and his eternal assistant, Nicholas Hoult.
