Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire spotted in Paris this week. Attentive journalists have discovered that they flaunt their long-term friendships with the same jewellery. Page Six writes about it.
Both players were staying at the Plaza Athénée Hotel in Paris and initially caught the attention of journalists in nearly identical outfits: black Los Angeles Dodgers baseball caps, light nylon navy jackets, and black shirts. And then it turned out that they have the same pendants as the picture of the wolf.
By doing so, Leonardo and Toby show they belong to the so-called “wolf pack,” a group of friends that includes Lukas Haas, Kevin Connolly, Vincent Lareska, and Richie Akiva.
They previously called themselves Pussy Posse, but decided to change their name after Leonardo won Best Actor at the 2016 Oscars. And they did it at a party.
“They literally howled like wolves all night long. Wolf pack, wolf pack, wolf pack!”
It looks like DiCaprio and Maguire are in Paris for an event with LeBron James, who may also be a member of the group.
It’s unclear exactly when Leonardo and Toby got their prominent engagement, and whether any of their other friends had them.
However, the Titanic star was spotted with a wolf pendant around her neck while vacationing on a yacht in Italy with her family and nephews.
Recall that Tobey Maguire and Leonardo DiCaprio have been friends since the 1980s, when they met at an audition when they were teenagers. Toby and Leo quickly found a common language, became friends, and promised each other that they would not let business come between them.
When Leonardo was offered the role of Spider-Man in a Sam Raimi movie, he turned it down in favor of Toby. They are rarely removed together, but they appeared, for example, in “The Great Gatsby” by Baz Luhrmann.
