Prince Harry and Meghan Markle look at a new home in California

The Dukes of Sussex have already liked the $18 million property near the Kardashian family estates in Malibu.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are said to be considering selling their Montecito home they bought in 2020 for $14 million. Last weekend, the couple toured an $8 million 5-acre property with ocean views and plans for a $10 million home in Malibu. TMZ writes about it.

This fueled rumors that the couple might consider leaving Montecito and moving their family closer to Hollywood.

Sources said the couple went to inspect the property over Labor Day weekend. They were looking at an $8 million oceanfront property with a swimming pool already built and plans for a $10 million 10,000 square foot state-of-the-art property.

Harry, 38, and Meghan, 42, have been living in their $14 million nine-bedroom mansion in Montecito since 2020.

The 18,000-square-foot Mediterranean-style home features rose gardens, century-old olive trees, a tennis court, teahouse, nursery and pool, and a two-bedroom guesthouse.

They now live alongside other celebrities – Oprah Winfrey, Ellen DeGeneres, Ariana Grande, Gwyneth Paltrow, Katy Perry, and Orlando Bloom.

The house is 85 miles (about an hour and a half by car) from Hollywood, however, and rumors have surfaced in recent weeks that they may be moving soon.

The Malibu area is only 45 miles or 45 minutes’ drive from Hollywood.

And it’s just 24 kilometers from Calabasas, where the Kardashians live. Markle’s mother, Doria Ragland, was photographed with Kim Kardashian and her mother, Kris Jenner, at a charity event.

Located above the Broad Beach and Pacific Coast Highway, the property will feature a stunning ultra-modern main house with large windows and panoramic ocean views, according to the visualizations.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are said to be eager to find a place private enough but close enough to Hollywood for a growing number of trips.

On Monday, Markle was in Los Angeles for the Beyoncé concert she attended with her husband on Friday.

The Duchess of Sussex returned to SoFi Stadium without Harry on Monday but was spotted alongside their son Archie’s godfather, Tyler Perry. She was also photographed with Kerry Washington and former Destiny’s Child singer Kelly Rowland.

Meanwhile, Harry was in Los Angeles on Sunday night to watch Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami beat Will Ferrell’s LAFC.

Meghan Markle is also known to be planning a return to Instagram and is said to be hoping to blog about a Goop-style lifestyle by updating her old website, The Tig.
