The long-awaited premiere of the video for the song “RICH” took place in the capital of Ukraine.
On November 10, a large-scale pre-premiere screening of Max Barskikh’s single “RICH” video took place at the Oscar cinema (Gulliver shopping centre). The video was directed by Alan Badoev. Journalist Focus I attended the pre-premiere event.
The video clip had been waiting for two years to “appear” to the public. And now it was decided to show it to the Ukrainian audience and fans of Max Barskikh.
Singer Max Barskikh decided to make the premiere of his video an opportunity to raise money to buy drones for the Ukrainian army. The slogan of the event is “Turn creativity into gold and gold into goodness”.
“Almost two years ago in December 2021, my team and I were inspired and preparing to release my new English album. Endless negotiations with record companies, the flow of creativity and the development of a promotional strategy – all this captivated our hearts, minds and thoughts. On New Year’s Eve we are more. “It took 3 days to create one of the biggest videos of recent years. Everything was ready for the long-awaited debut. But February 22 erased all plans and left dreams beyond the important.” the singer shared in an interview.
Max Barskikh said that he almost does not believe that the video will see the light of day in the coming years, or even appear on channels or platforms on a rotating basis.
“We have not talked about this work for a long time, it is ‘outdated’: too bright, too ironic, too inappropriate against the background of the emotions experienced by us Ukrainians. I think many of my colleagues have similar stories.” and postponed works that the audience has not yet seen or heard of,” Max Barskikh said during a call with the media.
Irina Tatarenko, Rosalie Nombre, Alexey Prishchepa and other media personalities were the first to come to support the Ukrainian celebrity and appreciate the video.
