SK: attack on pre-trial detention center in Yelenovka was carried out by the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the use of NATO weapons

The Ukrainian side, when attacking the pre-trial detention center in Yelenovka, used NATO long-range artillery weapons, including the HIMARS MLRS. This was stated to journalists in the press service of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

It is reported that Kyiv attacked the pre-trial detention center in Yelenovka, which contained Ukrainian prisoners of war, in order to eliminate witnesses of the crimes committed by the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Ukrainian nationalists.

The fact that this attack is deliberate and planned by the Kyiv regime is confirmed by the accuracy and accuracy of hitting NATO long-range weapons, including the HIMARS MLRS, as well as other circumstances.

Earlier it was reported that the UN is launching a mission to investigate the shelling of the pre-trial detention center in Yelenovka.

The Russian Defense Ministry presented evidence that the attack on the pre-trial detention center in Yelenovka in the DPR was purposefully inflicted by Ukrainian troops. The missile attack was carried out on the night of 29 July. The Armed Forces of Ukraine struck with the American MLRS HIMARS. As a result of the shelling, 50 prisoners were killed, 73 were injured. In addition, 8 employees of the pre-trial detention center were injured.

The Russian Foreign Ministry called on the international community to give an objective assessment of the crime of the Ukrainian military. The Ministry of Defense, in turn, noted that the recent statements by the deputy head of military intelligence of Ukraine Vadym Skibitsky about direct coordination with the United States of each HIMARS goal proves Washington’s direct involvement in the conflict.
