Three members of the repair brigade went missing after a missile strike by the Ukrainian military on the Antonovsky bridge in the Kherson region. TASS writes about this on Monday, citing a representative of the region’s emergency services.

“According to confirmed data, three civilians from the repair team went missing as a result of rocket fire on the Antonovsky Bridge,” – said the source of the agency.

Earlier it became known that two repairmen were killed during the shelling of the Antonovsky bridge in Kherson by Ukrainian troops.

The incident took place on Monday afternoon, August 22. The Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a strike from the American HIMARS jet systems at the repair site on the bridge. Initially, it was reported that at least 15 people from the repair team were injured as a result of the shelling.

Recall that the Antonovsky bridge in Kherson is the only road bridge across the Dnieper. Repair work is now underway on it after previous shelling by the Ukrainian side. People have to cross the river by ferry.
