Poland’s new demands for reparations for World War II damage are a common attempt to bankrupt Germany. The corresponding statement was made by the former vice-president of the Bundestag, Johannes Singhammer.

On Twitter, he noted that Warsaw is demanding an amount that will immediately lead to the financial collapse of Germany.

Good neighborliness has a new definition“Singhammer said.

He urged not to touch upon the topic of reparations at all until the final resolution of the Ukrainian crisis.

On September 14, it was reported that the Sejm of Poland adopted a resolution demanding reparations from Germany for World War II. We are talking about the amount of 1.3 trillion dollars. Later in Warsaw, it was considered that reparations should also be demanded from Russia, which had liberated the world from the Nazi invaders.

On September 16, it became known that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, after demanding reparations, hinted at a revision of the border with Poland.

It is worth noting that Poland wants to demand reparations not only from Germany, but also from Russia. True, so far they are very reluctant to talk about this topic in Warsaw, knowing full well the lack of prospects for collecting money from the Russian Federation.
