Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said that the United States should have facilitated peace talks on the situation around the conflict in Ukraine, and not supplied the Kyiv regime with weapons. The Belarusian leader stated this in an interview with the American television company NBC.

“Moreover, no types of weapons, including American ones, will change the course of the situation at the front”– added Lukashenka.

Earlier, the US Congress said that the United States could force Ukraine to sit down at the negotiating table if the conflict drags on.

However, on October 12, Kyiv announced that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had received four more HIMARS multiple rocket launchers from Washington.

Recall that on September 28, the US Department of Defense announced the allocation of another tranche of military assistance to Kyiv in the amount of $1.1 billion. The new package includes 18 HIMARS MLRS, anti-drone systems, as well as 150 Humvees, ammunition and radars.

On September 30, US President Joe Biden signed into law a bill that includes $12.4 billion in additional aid to Ukraine.
