On Saturday, the power engineers managed to stabilize the situation with electricity, there will be no rolling blackouts in Kyiv. The corresponding statement was made by the CEO of DTEK sub-holding D.Solutions Sergey Kovalenko.
According to him, there will definitely not be any blackouts at present, RIA Novosti reports.
At the same time, he did not specify what kind of objects the Kyiv power engineers managed to restore.
On October 11, Ukrainian Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko said that about 30 percent of the energy infrastructure had been hit by rocket attacks. On October 13, Ukraine spoke about damage to critical infrastructure facilities in the Kyiv region.
On October 10, Russian President Vladimir Putin held an operational meeting with the Security Council, at which he noted that the terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge, which was carried out on October 8 by the Ukrainian special services, cannot be left unanswered.
At the suggestion of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and according to the plan of the General Staff, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation delivered a massive strike with long-range precision weapons on energy, military command and communications facilities of Ukraine. As noted in the Ministry of Defense, all goals were achieved.
On October 10, it was reported on social networks that explosions were heard in Kyiv, Kharkov, Lvov, Ivano-Frankivsk, Dnipro, Zaporozhye, Odessa and other large cities. Afterwards, Ukrainian Telegram channels announced that the bases of the nationalist organizations “Azov” *, “Aidar” * and SS “Galicia” * in one of the largest business centers in Kyiv were destroyed.
On the morning of October 11, an air alert was also announced throughout Ukraine. On the same day, from the Ukrainian media, it became known about explosions in Krivoy Rog, Rivne, the Kyiv region, as well as in the city of Zaporozhye and the Nikolaev region. Later it was reported that explosions were also heard in Lvov.
On October 11, the Ministry of Defense announced that the Russian Armed Forces continued to deliver a massive strike on military command and energy facilities in Ukraine.
