Mike Pence regrets the attack on Nancy Pelosi’s husband and called it “outrageous”.

Former Vice President Mike Pence condemned the brutal attack on the husband of Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi. at his home in San Francisco. “This is outrageous,” Pence tweeted after the bad news broke Friday morning. More lawmakers came together to condemn the aggression against Mr. Pelosi.

On Friday, October 28, at dawn, Paul Pelosi, husband of Nancy Pelosi, was horribly attacked by a man identified as David DePape, who broke into his house with a hammer in search of the speaker of the House of Representatives and severely beat him. Mr Pelosi.

This violent act elicited varying reactions from legislators on both sides. who called the crash frightening, including former Vice President Mike Pence, who tweeted.

“This is outrageous and our hearts go out to the entire Pelosi family. We are praying for Paul to make a full recovery,” Pence tweeted.

Who also added: “There can be no tolerance for violence against public servants or members of their families. This person should be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law.”

Police took David DePape into custody after they arrived at the welfare check house and found the two men wrestling with a hammer. DePape, who was yelling at Nancy Pelosi, grabbed a hammer and used it to attack him.

Nancy Pelosi was in Washington with her team. Mr Pelosi was taken to the hospital where he underwent skull surgery.

Other lawmakers joined in condemning the attack and sent words of support to Pelosi and her husband. Vice President Kamala Harris sent the message through her social media.

“Doug and I are appalled by the attack on Paul Pelosi, Speaker Pelosi’s husband. The entire Pelosi family is in our hearts and we wish her a speedy recovery.”

Senator Chuck Schumer also lamented the aggression: “What happened to Paul Pelosi was a cowardly act. I spoke with Speaker Pelosi this morning and conveyed my deepest concern and sincere wishes to her husband and family, and I wish her a speedy recovery.”

White House Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said President Biden sent a message to Nancy Pelosi and condemned Paul Pelosi’s attack.

“@POTUS praying for Paul Pelosi and the entire Pelosi family. He called Speaker Pelosi this morning to express his support in the wake of this horrific attack. He is also very happy that a full recovery is expected.”

Senator Mitch McConnelly expressed support for the Speaker of the House of Representatives.

“I am shocked and outraged by reports that Paul Pelosi was robbed at his home. and President Pelosi last night. Glad to hear that Paul is on the road to a full recovery and that law enforcement, including our Capitol Star Police, are looking into this case.”
