Soldier with socks: Volunteers in Kursk start collecting dog hair

The head of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Shoigu, informs Putin about the entire order supplied to the Russian army, while Kursk volunteers collect combed dog hair to knit socks and belts for soldiers.

Russian volunteers in Kursk announced the collection of dog hair, which will later be used to knit socks and belts for military personnel of the RF Armed Forces. At the same time, they noted that according to the local edition of Novosti Kursk, they need not trimmed, but combed animal hair.

A similar idea came with volunteers from the Angel Army Aid Group’s Golden Hands. They announced the collection of combed dog hair from any dog to impose warm clothing on soldiers at war in Ukraine. According to the volunteers, this initiative is a pilot project of the group.

“Like kinologists, we were asked to collect wool from dog owners. 10 high-quality combed Spitz can be knitted from a sock for a soldier and a Caucasian sweater,” said the Dog People Kursk group.

The publication noted that the volunteers were very concerned about the occupants “not hurting their backs and being warm”.

Problems with the provision in the RF Armed Forces

Meanwhile, on October 28, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu boldly informed President Vladimir Putin that the “partial” mobilization had been completed and stated that all problems with the supply of troops had been resolved. The fact that the invaders had such problems was told not only by Russian military correspondents, but also by deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation.

As Gazeta.ru journalists reported, during the “partial” mobilization Russian legislators had a question – “Where is the money?” In particular, the head of the State Duma Defense Committee Andrei Kartapolov and the head of the security committee Vasily Piskarev asked the prosecutor’s office to find out where the funds allocated for the provision of rear services were spent. The fact that this money was allocated was announced by Kartapolov himself in the program of the propagandist Vladimir Solovyov.

In the same Kursk, the local governor Roman Starovoit also allowed him to criticize the RF Ministry of Defense. According to him, there are soldiers in the training military units of the region who do not have the necessary equipment.

Starovoit asked a rhetorical question: “Somewhere normal, but somewhere terrible. I was surprised how the current training unit of the Ministry of Defense could be in such a state.”

In order not to offend the Kremlin with allegations, some representatives of the regional authorities decided to raise money for equipment for the mobilized. For example, in Buryatia in September they collected money for additional uniforms and medicines, and in Novokuznetsk the mayor reported the amount of 1.5 million rubles collected.

Earlier it was reported that the military command of the Russian Federation began to detain mobilized soldiers who refused to fight against Ukraine, for show. Especially in Belgorod, during the formation at the parade ground, military personnel were detained and everything was filmed.
