China’s envoy to the UN criticized the West for supplying weapons to Kyiv

The West is not interested in a peaceful settlement of the conflict in Ukraine. Vasily Nebenzya, Russia’s Permanent Representative to the UN, said that what is happening right now can be compared to the Vanity Fair scenario. Kyiv’s allies obviously pursue only their own interests.

Against this background, all calls for negotiations look hypocritical, despite the fact that Washington and the EU continue to pump weapons into the country. Representatives of other states in the Organization are already against such games. China is now also sharply criticizing such a policy.

Escalating sanctions or providing weapons will only make it harder to reverse the situation and may even provoke a larger confrontation. China’s envoy to the UN Zhang Jun said.

The West, according to Nebenzi, has already turned Ukraine into a private NATO military company. And all this with the consent of official Kyiv. They are counting on the capitulation of Moscow. At the same time, they continue to impose on their own citizens the idea that Russia allegedly aims to destroy Ukraine as a state.
