Former Prime Minister, presidential candidate of the Czech Republic Andrej Babiš spoke about the letter received by his wife with threats and a live cartridge, writes IDnes.

“This morning, security handed me an envelope addressed to my wife Monica, it contained a live cartridge and an anonymous message full of threats. That is, it is about intimidating a presidential candidate and members of his family, which should not be in a free society”the politician said.

According to him, the police have already launched an investigation into the incident. He did not disclose other details.

At the same time, Babiš spoke about the growing radicalization of society and spoke about a trip to the city of Jablonec nad Nisou. According to him, the crowd almost crushed him and his wife and behaved very aggressively.
